CCC #25 - Scribble Stain Distress P. 34

Hello Everyone,

I started out the new year right...being creative and of course doing laundry.  Finished the laundry and my tag for Linda's Compendium of Curiosities challenge #25.  OK, I did this three times before I liked what I had.  It is not that this challenge is hard, it just took me three times to realize less is sometimes better when it comes to the scribble part.  Anyway, let me know what you think.

Happy Creating,
Shirley

  5. Happy New Year, Shirley! I like how you began 2011 (okay, the laundry doesn't sound like much fun, but the crafting is downright fabulous!). What a stunning tag you've made! The scribble stained background is gorgeous. Third time must be the charm, and you're so right, less really is more with this technique. I love the uncaged bird-- it's a really lovely and powerful look!

2011 is going to be an amazing and wonderful year!!!!

  6. What do I think? I think this tag is just wonderful :)

PS I did all the laundry yesterday. It felt good to not have even ONE piece of anything left to be washed! :) Of course there's new stuff today HA!

  8. Absolutely gorgeous tag Shirley! I must agree that the Scribble Stain Distress is one tough technique to get the look right! I wasted my first tag too because I was too heavy handed with the scribbles....this 3rd one of yours is just perfect! :)
