Hope you are having a fabulous and creative weekend. It has been a busy weekend getting caught up on some work, laundry, grocery shopping etc. I did carve out some time to get inky though. I created a book awhile back to house all my tags in that I did for the CC challenges. The book turned out OK but I was not happy with the thickness and the fact that it would not hold all the tags. Yesterday I made a new book. This book has five rings and I made it so that the tags could over lap. It fits every single one of my tags and is not overly bulky at all. I have not decorated it yet. I need to figure out how I am going to cut the end of it first before I do that. I used Grungeboard for the front and back covers. Just glued two pieces together. I knew that I wanted to use one of Tim's edge dies on it but I thought I would cover it first...wrong! Now it is too big to go into the machine. Oh well, I will figure something out. Any ideas for me? I thought about rolling it over but it is too thick for that. Anyway. I used the new Kraft resist from Tim and also the Distress stains. Please take a look and let me know what you think of it and any suggestions on the ends.

ReplyDeleteThis book will be a treasure! I love that you'll have your tags all together. Any time you're needing a spark of creativity, you need only check out your book. Maybe you can cut a decorative edge out of something you like and glue it to the inside edge of the cover, so it still sticks out beyond the edge of the book covers. It'll be great no matter what you do.
