CCC #11 and 12 - Blended Batik P. 36 and Chipped Enamel P. 44

Hello Everyone,

I am SO behind on posting my tags and doing them.  This tag is actually two challenges in one.  The background is the Blended Batik technique from page 36 and the Ornate Plate is the Chipped Enamel technique from page 44.  Please let me know what you think of the tag.

Happy Creating,
Shirley

Note: I changed my tag a bit.  I decided to go will all the black gems.  Which is better?

  1. Great job combining the two challenges. Your chipped enamel turned out great and the blended batik makes a great background to it.

  3. Gorgeous way to combine the two techniques, Shirley, and you did a fabulous job on both! You once again chose a stunning color scheme, and the blended batik looks so elegant. Your chipped enamel Ornate Plate is absolutely "art"ful! The distress is perfect!

I like both versions, but I agree-- I think the black gems give a more cohesive look. It's gorgeous, either way!

  6. It's stunning! I've had such fun going through all your posts but this one is my absolute favorite. Must pull out my Compendium and find out about the Blended Batik!
